Alcester Minster welcomes a new priest!
On Sunday 16th May at St Peter’s Coughton Rev’d Mike Eaman was Licensed by the Lord Bishop of Coventry, Rt Rev’d Dr Christopher Cocksworth, to serve on Sundays and two additional days each week as a ‘House of Duty’ Associate Minister for the Alcester Minster Churches.
Rev’d Mike Eaman comes from the Parish of Congleton, in Chester Diocese, where he was team Vicar of both St John’s and St Stephen’s Churches. Mike was ordained in 1989 after a long career in the army, as a surveyor with the Royal Engineers.
We welcome Mike and his wife Charmian to their new home in Great Alne Rectory.
In 2010 we are continuing to raise funds towards the refurbishment of Church House. Please look at the notice boards for information about events.

Lunches in aid of Church House will continue every month, usually on the fourth Thursday.
